We Arrived Safely

After several delays - none due to IKE - we made it safely to New Orleans last night, or should I say this morning a little after midnight. Our flight was originally scheduled to leave at 8:55. that got pushed back to 10:05 because of weather where the plane was coming from - Ohio. It was an interesting landing. We flew into 60knot winds, so it was a "little" bumpy on the way down. The pilot sis an excellent job. Sam is officially a seasoned flier now. She slept through the entire flight - landing and all. There were only 35 people on the flight, so we got to take the carseat on with us. That made it nice. We are glad we got in when we did, as the weather has been a little crazy today. Sam woke up about 5 this morning from the wind and rain pounding on the window by her pack-n-play. We woke up to find out that the power was out. Apparently a transformer out by the airport had blown. It was out for about 4 hours, but everything is working again now. It is just pretty windy and rainy. We are going to venture out in it this afternoon:)Hope you guys don't blow away while we are gone!
