Tuesday, Sam had her first day of school. She is going one day a week to the Heights Baptist Church, Child Development Center. It is from 9 to 2, and I think she had a good time. At least she was laughing when I went to pick her up. the two teachers that are in her class are very nice and have been there. It gives me time to go cook for my client, and still have a few hours to do something for myself. They said she had a great first day, and was very good.
We are doing really well on the food front as well. So far she has had:
Sweet potatoes,Butternut Squash, Green Beans, Apples, Bananas, Pears, avacado and prunes:) So far there is nothing that she doesn't like. I have been making it - all except the prunes. She has also had Rice and otameal cereal. She seems to like the oatmeal better than the rice. I need to get some carrots and peas and make some of that.
Tomorrow, we are headed out to the Big Easy for a little rest and relaxation with the family. We may be a little wind blown by the time it is all said and done, but it should be a great experience. Say a prayer for Todd's older sister - Tanya. They live in Pearland(between Houston and Galveston). It looks as though Ike will be giving them quite a pounding. They may be headed to our house to stay while we are gone.
