This weekend was full of activities. Friday evening we went to a going away party for our friends the Ingrams. They have been a part of our Sunday school class and community group, but are moving to Oklahoma. We are sad to see them go, but are excited for them as they embark on this new phase of life. Being near family is special. They had a final farewell party at their home in The Colony, so it was good to get to see them one last time. After that we went over to the Hollman's to help Suzanne celebrate her b-day. It was faun spending some time with them and having a little cake to celebrate.
Saturday, we meet up with our gang of friends to celebrate Amy's b-day. We went to MiCocina for a yummy Mexican dinner. Even though we were all together a month ago celebrating b-days, it felt like it had been forever since we were together. We had an enjoyable evening as everyone got babysitters. We enjoyed the adult time. I made a cake and when they brought it out, they sang a song that none of us had ever heard. It definitely was not Happy Birthday. It was fun whatever it was.
Sam also hit the 4month mark on Saturday. We will get her official progress on Tuesday at her 4 month checkup, but we think she is doing well. We took her off the zantac this week and she is doing so much better. She is at least back to sleeping through the night. We will talk to the dr on Tuesday when we go, to see if there is anything else we can try. We are so blessed because she really is a good baby. She discovered the exersaucer this week and loves it. Her feet touch the bottom just enough that she can turn herself around to play with all the toys. She still hasn't quite made it rolling over back to front, but she gives it her best. She can get over to her side and then will try to grab onto other things to pull herself. It is pretty funny to watch. She has also transitioned to a 4 hour schedule. It is pretty nice to have that extra hour to get things done.
