Last week we played a lot of catch up after having been gone the week before. I began working on all of the many thing we have left to do for BU. Still no word from the bank on when we will close, but keep praying that it will happen by Friday!!
Mom came over on Thursday to help me clean, as she had some friends coming over to spend the weekend at my house. I really appreciated the help as she does such a wonderful job!!. If only I could pay her to clean my house on a regular basis. They came over Friday and we went to Women of Faith. It was a lot of fun. Todd had the guys from our community group over on Friday for poker night and they watched Sam. I took her with me on Sat. It was only going to be for the am, but she was doing so great, I decided to let Todd have the day to get caught up. I spent the conference in the nursing mothers room on the admiral's level at the AA center. It was much better than my cramped seat. On Thursday, my sister came over with Wendy, and all the kids. Suzanne met us at Bounce U with her brood. Wendy took pictures for us of the kids playing on the equipment, so we can have them done for our store. i can't wait to see them.
This past week was a really rough week for Sam. Wednesday she went to bed at 8:30 and woke up at 10:30 as if she had just taken a nice little nap. It was 1 am before I could get her back asleep. She was laughing and playing. Then she was up at 3 - it took and hour to get her back to sleep and then up again at 6. Thursday night, she woke up at 2 and the only way she would go back to sleep is if we held her. She could be sound asleep, deep breathing and all. As soon as we laid her down she would wake up. I spent an hour sleeping in the chair with her and then Todd did the same. The rest of the week has pretty much been the same stuff. Going to bed like normal, but waking up at 12, 2 etc.. At least we did not have to hold her to sleep but that one night. Not sure what is going on with her, but I am not sure how much more of this I can take:) I guess this is just another phase of life.
My new favorite thing is the Baby Videos. I had seen them at Mardels before, but had never bought them. They had a 3 video set that came with a really cute peek-a-boo Bible character book. The videos are great!! Sam really loves them. They have lots of hand puppets and she loves the puppets. They have the lady who is the voice of the Little Mermaid. One is the story of David, one is the creation story and the other is Noah. I like them a lot better than the praise baby. She doesn't like those. They are not quite as engaging as these or the baby einstein ones.
Here are a few pics from the last week. She is getting so much better at the sitting up. She still leans over quite a bit, but can hold it so much better now.
