As you know, we had a very hard time choosing a name for little Fifi. We both think there is more to a name than just the name, so meaning was very important to both of us. Proverbs 22:1 says, "A good name is to be more desired than great wealth, Favor is better than silver and gold." We started with a very long list and finally decided on Samantha Neva. It was very hard to eliminate names as we had so many we both really liked. What it really came down to was the meaning and the scripture that went with it.
Todd really liked Sam from the beginning, but it took me a long while to warm up to it.
Samantha means listener/attentive to God's voice - Job 22:28, "Whatever you decide to do will be accomplished, and light will shine on the road ahead of you."
Neva (my moms first name) means new/obedient spirit - Ps 119:2, "Blessed are those who keep His testimonies, who seek Him with a whole heart!"
We are so excited to have her here and can't wait for you all to meet her.
