2 weeks old and Happy 4 years Anniversary

Todd and I have been married 4 years today. What a difference one year can make. We have had a lot transpire over that last year. While we were disappointed by the the miscarriage, we can't imagine it any other way. Almost one year to the date of that event, we now have a beautiful daughter. God is so good!! While Todd is still without a full time job, God has provided for us. It has been an amazing journey, and we are learning to trust Him more everyday. Things are finally looking good for Bounce U (see below), and my business really blossomed over that last year.

Sam was 2 weeks old yesterday. We had her 2 week appointment, and, according to her doctor, she is a perfectly, healthy baby. She has grown an inch and 1/4 and is back up to her birth weight. He is very pleased with her progress. Unfortunately, I have figured out that there is a big correlation between my consumption of dairy products and her fussiness. Anyone who knows me knows that i just love cheese!! However, it seems the more cheese, milk, yogurt, sour cream etc.. that I eat, the more she screams bloody murder through the night. For our sanity and sleep, I am trying my best to limit my intake. I had my 2 week follow up with my doctor yesterday as well. They said my incision is looking great, and they removed the steri-strips. I have to start taking an antibiotic, as I have the beginnings of what could be an infection. They are hoping to cut it off before it turns into an abscess or mastitis. Just in one day, it seems to be doing the trick.
Monday we went to FtW and stayed at mom and dads. My cousin were able to come over to meet her. They gave her the cutest little swimsuit and cover up. I can't wait for summer to get here, so she can wear it. Tuesday, Wendy did her pictures. While she wasn't fussy, she would not cooperate and go to sleep. I am sure they will turn out just great. I can't wait to get them back.
My sister and Taylor are coming over this weekend. They are going to babysit so we can go have a nice dinner for our anniversary. Hopefully Sam will cooperate and be good for them:)

We had a meeting on Tuesday with a contractor to look over our BU space. Now that we have a lease, we have to get busy on the finish out of the space. We need to get the architectural drawings done and decide on a contractor to complete the work. It was a little bit reassuring when we got there, as the landlord had his contractor there giving bids for the flooring, repairing the roof and several other things the city has requested. Hopefully, that will mean we can get our SUP at the next City council meeting. He also told us that he was contracted to give us what is called a "vanilla box". If this is true, then that will save us some money on the finish out of the space.

Continue to pray for Todd and his job hunt. He is patiently waiting to hear back from his CS interview. They told him it would be a quick turn around, so hopefully we will hear something soon. It has been a week, today since his last interview.

I have really enjoyed having him home this week. Sam has enjoyed her time with daddy and we will both miss him next week. She is going to get some alone time with daddy tomorrow, while mommy goes for a massage and facial. Todd gave it to me for my b-day back in Nov, and I have been saving it for after the baby came. I sent him yesterday for a massage as part of his anniversary present.

Here are a few more pics of her with her cousins:
