The past weekend we decided to take one last get away, just the two of us. We went out to lake Cypress Springs - about 1 1/2 hours east off I-30. Our marriage mentors - Robbie and Susan - have a lake house out there that they let us borrow for the weekend. It was absolutely wonderful. Robbie is an architect and designed the house. It is so amazing. I told Todd, I think I just need to permanently move there:)) They met us out there Friday evening to show us around. Todd fixed us a wonderful steak dinner for Friday night. We slept in on Saturday morning, before spending the day lounging out by the lake. Herculez had a blast exploring and pretending he was a country dog. Saturday night we went into Winnsboro to eat at Cibo Vino. Robbie and Susan gave us a gift certificate for diner. It was wonderful!! We can;t thank them enough for letting us use their place. It was a much needed get away. I don't think my feet swelled all weekend.
I was so excited when we got home today. The CD with our pictures was waiting in the mailbox. Enjoy a few more really fun pictures.
Now it is back to the real world. I have 2 jobs this week and then I am done working, except for my Monday client. I will work for her until Fifi arrives. If she comes April 2, then we have just 17 days to go... AHHHHHHH
Friday, was my niece's 8th b-day. They went out of town for Spring Break, so Andrea and her friend Wendy are coming over Thursday, with Taylor and Emme, and we are going to have lunch for T's b-day at the American Girl Bistro. Should be fun. Andrea and Wendy are going to come over early and help me get the nursery finished. Decorating is not my speciality, but it is theirs, so I am letting them put the final touches on the room.
