This last week was really crazy, as will be the next 2:)) What is new? We are down to 5 weeks left and lots left to do. I had my regular clients last week, a luncheon on Thursday for 75 and another one on Saturday for 250. Saturday became a family affair as I enlisted the help of Todd, my mom, dad and sister. Couldn't have pulled it off without their help!! I think I might have come pretty close to a chicken salad recipe that is very similar to Cafe Max!! We also celebrated my dad's 65th b-day. Like I said, busy weekend!
My sister and one of her friends came over on Saturday for a girls night out. There were supposed to be 4 of them, but it just ended up being the 2, so they opted to stay with us. They spent the day shopping and then I took them to Cuba Libre for dinner. YUM!!
We have a little more progress on the mural this weekend. So cute, as usual!!
Shannon is so great. I am waiting for her to finish, so we can get the final touches on the nursery. Still need to hang stuff on the walls, set up the twin bed and arrange the rest of the furniture. I wasn't going to do anything with the bathroom area just yet. Since it is a jack and jill, I did not want to make it to girly, in case our next child is a boy. I was in target the other day and they had a really cute ocean themed shower curtain. (I know totally doesn't go with the Paris theme, but it is color coordinated) It has the pink, green and blue color of her room and it has some red and yellow, should we have a boy next. I got hot pink, turquiose and lime green towels to go with it. It was a good deal so I couldn't pass it up (regularly $40 on sale for $16)
Say a few prayers that I will make it through this next week. I have my regular clients, a breakfast on Wednesday for 150, a doctors appointment and a dinner on Friday in FtW for 20. Saturday, morning we are going to be doing our maternity pictures. It should be fun to see how they turn out.
We still don't have a name, but we are getting closer.
