Matthews 4th Birthday Weekend

This was a super busy weekend. We left Friday afternoon for Houston. Sam's cousin Matthew was turning 4. She got the opportunity this weekend to meet her Cousin Matthew, Uncle David, Aunt Tiff and Uncle Josh and her other cousin Drea. She also got to spend some more time with Her Grammy and papi and Aunt Tanya. She did really well on the car ride down, but that made for a long night as she did not want to go to sleep. Saturday, we tried to take a few pictures of Matthew and Sam - yet to be determined how they will turn out. At noon we went to Jump-N-Jungle for Matthew's party. Sam even went down the slide. We were very surprised to see Tanya's friend Suzanne - pregnant. They had tried for many years to get pregnant and finally had triplets through a surrogate - her sister, how special. Unfortunately, one of them passed away at 6 months. Anyway, after everything they had been through, they did not think they could get pregnant, and surprise she did. She has 9 weeks left to go. Isn't God so good!!! I just love stories like that.
After that we went over to visit my college roommate Katherine(Cathy) and her family. She has two of the most beautiful kids you will ever see. Isabella and Nicholas. Isabelle picked out Sam a Care Bear and she loves it!!
Saturday evening, we hung out with Todd's family and took a walk/ride around the neighborhood. Matthew got a "motorcycle" for his birthday, so he wanted to ride it around and Drea rode his 4 wheeler. We also went to check out the house Todd's parents are thinking about buying. We can't wait for them to move to Texas, so visiting them will be much easier!! This morning we went down to the Japanese Gardens to take a few family pictures. It was so stinking hot, but somehow we survived. We should get the pictures back next week, but I took a few with our camera. It was very pretty down there, so hopefully, we got some good ones.

Now for a Bounce U update.....
At the beginning of July we were informed that Bounce U and Pump It Up have merged. We prefer to call it a buy out:) We are still not sure what this is going to mean for us, but we are learning more with each day. We have been told by the new CEO that there will be no changes for us and we can move forward with no problems, so please pray this is the case. The guy who owns the Frisco territory has hit some major roadblocks because of this merger.
We finally got our architectural drawings done and will have our MEPs by the middle of this week. This means that now we can get bids from the contractors and then will have to choose one. Once that is complete, we can submit the bid to the SBA and we can close on our SBA loan. We are on a very TIGHT time schedule for closing the loan. This has to take place by Aug 29th or we will have to start over from scratch. We do not want this to happen, so please pray that the contractors will get their bids in on time and we can get everything submitted on time and in order. There is a good possibility that we will probably be opening in Nov instead of Oct, just because it takes about 9 weeks for the equipment to come in once it is ordered. We have to pay for half when it is ordered, but we can't do that without the funds from our SBA loan and so on and so on. So you can see that it is much more complicated than it needs to be:)
