Happy 4th of July!!

Another first for Sam. Her very first 4th of July. She started the day off with a bang, by sleeping until 8:00!!! Mommy and Daddy were very happy. Daddy especially since he did not have to go to work today and got to sleep in. We are ready to cut out her last feeding of the day, but the Dr. wanted us to wait until her 4 month appt. He said we could transition to a 3 1/2hour feeding schedule at 3 months, but still wanted her to have 6 feedings until 4 months. At her 4 month appt, we will transition to 4 hour schedule and cut out the last feeding. We can't wait. We really can't complain too much since she has pretty much been sleeping through the night since 4 weeks. It is just getting longer which is better for mommy and daddy!! So right now she goes to bed around 9:30 and sleeps until 7:30 or 8. It is heaven. We weighed her this week and she is up to 13lbs. I don't know how long she is, but I can tell she is getting bigger from the way she fits in her swing, car seat and bed. People still ask me if she was a preemie and talk about how small she is. She is in the 50% for height and weight, so I don't think she can be all that small.
We have been talking about putting her upstairs in her crib, but have decided to wait. Not because she isn't ready, but because we are cheap.:) Big shocker!! If we put her upstairs, then we have to run the AC up there. We figure we will save the $$ and put her up there when things cool off. I usually put her up there for at least one nap a day, so she is used to being in that bed. She doesn't seem to know the difference.
We went over to the Brower's for burgers, swimming and we thought - the Frisco fireworks show. We came home instead to watch the fireworks. She did not get a very good nap today and was really tired. It worked out perfectly time wise. We drove home, fed her, put her to bed just in time to sit in our front yard, with our neighbors, and see the wonderful Richardson fireworks. They set them of in the park just below our house, so we get a front row seat. People park at the school across from us and set up camp. This is one of the perks about living where we do. From our house we can see the Richardson, Plano and Garland fireworks show. Not bad:)
Here are a few pics from Sam's first 4th of July!!

Tomorrow, grandma and pops are coming over to watch Sam while Todd and I go cater the after party to a wedding reception. I guess this is the newest thing to do. As if weddings are not expensive enough!
