Update on Bounce U and Sam's new friend, Carter Leeanne

We haven't given an update in a while, because there hasn't been a lot to say. On June 3rd, the city officially welcomed us to the community by issuing our Special Use Permit. Last month the zoning and planning commission approved the change, so we knew it was going to happen, but now it is official. We have moved from the real estate phase of the process into what is called on-boarding. Now is where the fun begins. We have our architectural drawings done and are ready to start the MEP (mechanical, electrical and plumbing). We hit a little snafu yesterday. All this time we have been working on the assumption that the space we were taking stopped before the back wall of the building. there was another wall that divide what used to be the common area. Because Harbor Freight went all the way to the back, they want us to as well. That kind of throws off our drawings. We can't take on the extra sq footage, because it puts the space out of our budget. If we change the layout, It makes our bounce rooms in a not so favorable shape. This is something we are going to be negotiating with the landlord in the next few days, so please pray that this will be worked out. This could potentially cause a major problem. We are trusting that God brought us this far and will work out all these details as well. Once we get that taken care of, then we can move forward with construction etc.. Right now, Bounce U has out tentative grand opening date set for the middle of October. A little later that we were hoping for, but we will take it.

On another note, Sam's new friend - Carter Leeanne Hollman was born today at 6:39 pm. She weighed 7 lbs 7 oz and was 20 inches. Almost exactly, what Sam was. She is so precious and a true blessing from God. If all goes well, they will officially adopt her on Friday.

Sam and Carter.
People always say it and now I get it. It is hard to believe tht she has already grown that much. She was the same size when she was born. She has out grown her newborn clothes and is wearing the 3 month stuff.
