Happy New Year - 2008

We hope everyone had a safe and happy new year. I can't believe another year has come and gone. Todd and I spent our New Year's Eve, cooking for a dinner party. Over the last week, I had a lot of time to take it easy and keep my feet up. I think they finally had gone back to pretty normal. It is amazing how one day up on them, changes things drastically. I will try to take it easy the rest of this week. Sunday night we went to the Eisemann Center to see "The Full Moon Murders" - my Christmas present from Todd. It was pretty fun. The whole play was in black and white - the set, the actors and all of their outfits were gray and black and white. During intermission you got to make your guess as to who you think the murderer was. If you have time and are looking for something different, it was cute and funny.
Back to New Year's Eve - After the party, we headed over to Amanda's house to spend the last couple of hours of 2007 with friends. Kind of a tradition we have. We made pizza's, had lots of snacks, played games and rang in the new year with Sparklers. We always have a big slumber party and breakfast on new Years morning. In the past breakfast has always been much later. However, with the addition of kids to the group, breakfast was actually at breakfast time. Amanda said that next year we will have 4 new additions to the kid family. Fifi Gigi and Craig and Amy's 3.

We tried to get some more done on the nursery this week. Todd was going to texture the bathroom area, so he could paint, but the gun we have doesn't work. Instead we got the changing table sanded and painted and the baskets painted too. Next step is to find some suitable fabric to make liners for the baskets.
Just about 13 weeks until the big day. Kind of scary when you say it that way. We are down to 2 digit numbers. Boy how time flies. I think I finally got all my registering done. Lisa helped me a while back get started, but there has been a lot of tweaking to do to get it finished. I think at this point, it is as done as it will ever be. Most everything is in the store for Babies-r-Us, but target doesn't offer much "in-store" selection. So much stuff. Who knew a little baby could need all of that??? My first shower is Jan 26 and the other is Feb 2. I think things will seem more real after that.
2008 is already looking up. I thought this was going to be a much slower month for my business, but it seems as if they will not be so.
One final note... We made a deal and have a location for Bounce U. We accepted their last LOI, so now we will get started on the official lease process, build out etc...

We hope that this year will be full of blessings for your families. We are looking forward to what God has in store for us this year!!!

Wow! This is an exciting entry. Congrats on the Bounce U location! I want these pics - looks like you got some good ones! Can you email them or put them on one of those photo sites? Thanks!

I know... i feel so bad. I have other pictures but not everyones. And yes, you've been up here a lot...we should have our pictures taken together with our pregnant bellies. You'll have to come again soon so we can take a belly shot together. These babies may not be in here too much longer.
