Doctor Visit/Bounce U Update

Today was my 28 week appointment visit. I did the glucola (diabetes) screening. Apparently, no news is good news for that test. If I passed, then I will not get my results until the next appointment. If I failed, I will hear from them and have to go back for more tests - which I hear are no fun. The doctor said she thinks I will probably be fine as my urine test showed a lot of sugar - meaning my body was doing it's job. - Maybe that is TMI - sorry.

Other than that everything is great. I am measuring exactly 28 weeks, so phooey on all those people that say, "oh I couldn't tell/did not know you were pregnant." Honestly, I hope I did not have a belly like this before being pregnant:)) No signs of early labor or anything like that. We will just leave it there and not give you all those fun details. Fifi's heartbeat was 167 this morning. She was on a big sugar high from the super sweet glucola drink. Doctor said she seems to be a happy baby.
The only negative was the swelling in my feet. It is not anything out or the normal, but because I do a lot of standing, they want me to start wearing those compression socks. hopefully, that will help. They are such a fashion statement - I can't wait!!!
This appointment also marked the start of my every 2 week appointments. Not sure why I am starting those now. Everyone I talk to says they did not do that until closer to the end. Don't know why I am so lucky, but it is what it is.
As for Bounce U - Brian from Bounce U corporate flew in town today to check out out space. He gave it the thumbs up, so we are still moving forward with the Josey/Frankford location.
I was able to see it first hand today. Lets just say that right now it is not all that impressive, but it certainly has potential. We thought we were going to be right next to the Dollar Tree, but the landlord changed our spot. Harbour Freight, not Northern Tool, is going to take the space next to Dollar Tree and we will go in next to them. They are in talks right now with a salon to take the end space. Wouldn't have thought about it, but according to Brian, having a salon is a good thing. Apparently, the moms love to go get their hair and nails done while the kids play. Who knew??? We have our official lease - all 46 pages. Todd is going through it with a fine tooth comb and will be passing it off to Leslie - our friend that is a Real Estate Attorney. She is going to go over it next week to make sure everything is as it should be before we sign on the dotted line. The next step is to get some contractors out next week to start deciding exactly what will need to be done to make the space Bounce U worthy. We also need to find a commercial architect to do our drawings. If you know someone in this field you might recommend, please let us know. below is a picture of the future home of Bounce U Gonzo style:)))
Thank you all so much for the many prayers you have poured out of the last many many months. We are so blessed to have a healthy baby girl, a healthy mom2B, and now a location for our future business. It has certainly been a struggle getting here, but we have learned so much over the last year, and have grown in our relationships with God and each other. We definitely, know that all things happen for a reason, and that all things work together for the good of those that serve Him!! I am sure we are not done growing, stretching or whatever you want to call it, so please don't stop praying now:))
