Busy weekend

This was an extremely busy weekend. Friday night, Shannon came over and started drawing the mural in the nursery. It is going to be so cute. I tried to take pictures, but since it is in pencil right now, you can't really see. If you come to the Christmas party, Friday night, you can check it out in person. She is so wonderful. I don't know what I would do without her. While she was doing that, I was getting ready for a dinner party I had in Fort Worth.

Saturday, I went to FtW to prep for a dinner party. I did not have to stay, which was kind of nice, because it freed up the rest of our evening. It just made for a lot of driving that day. Todd on the other hand, got a nice surprise over at the flip house. He went to mow the yard and found the master bathroom flooded. Apparently, a squirrel, raccoon etc.. got into the access panel in the back of the house and chewed through the hoses leading to the tub. That took up most of his time. Saturday was our Sunday school Christmas party. We did not think we were going to be able to make it, but when my party got changed to just prep, we were able to make dinner and dessert.

Sunday was Megan's baby shower. It was so cute. As you can see from the pictures, we went with a prince and princess theme, as she is having twins - boy and girl. Watching other people get all kinds of fun gifts, kind of makes it seem more real for me. Now that we have started getting the nursery ready, it is slowly becoming more and more real. It is hard to believe that in 3 1/2 short months, little Fifi Gigi will be making her entrance. Lord help us all:))
