Another Busy Week/weekend

Sad to say, but I am kind of ready for December to be over. This month has been so busy and crazy!! We started the week with a Doctors appointment. All is well with baby Fifi Gigi. Unfortunately, we are going to have to cancel our Christmas plans to New Orleans. The doctor said we could go, but we would have to stop every hour and a half for me to get out and walk around for 30 min. That makes a long drive even longer!! If we had more time to spend, we would probably go, but having to go on Saturday and return Monday was not appealing. My feet have been swelling a lot lately, but the doctor said it is ok as long as they are still going down. When they stop going down there will be more reason for concern.

I had clients throughout the week, 2 on Tuesday, some appetizers for Nylsa's cookie exchange, our Christmas party and finger foods for a client Saturday.

Fortunately, my mom came over on Thursday to help me clean the house. I would not have gotten everything done if she had not. It has been a while since our house has been this clean. She also helped me prepare some goodies for the party. We also said goodbye to Aggie for the time being. We had him for the previous 3 weeks. Herculez was somewhat sad to see him go. He did not get out of bed almost all day Friday. By the time the party started, he forgot about him:))

Friday, Lisa and I went to visit Amy in the hospital. She and Craig are having triplets and are there for the duration. We took her some lunch and other goodies to keep her occupied. Saturday, was Craig's b-day, so we took up a b-day cake for that.

Friday night we had our annual Christmas party. The weather was awful , but we still had a great turnout.

Herculez' peace and quiet ended on Saturday, when Diesel came for a visit. he is a big boxer, but the sweetest, most well behaved dog youwill ever meet. Just a big teddy bear!!

I had another party for a client, and had to make cupcakes for another. We were supposed to have another party that night, but those clients cancelled. it actually turned out ok because we actually got to go to a party as a guest:)) We had a big pig and by that I do not mean a ham. I mean an actual BIG PIG. We went over to Mookie and Cindy's, and the food was all yummy. Mookie is a bit of a techno junkie, so we had fun playing dance nation, rock band, wii golf, bowling and boxing. Hopefully, someone will send me a picture of the pig, so I can add it to the blog:)

Sunday, we had our annual Christmas/Fall birthday brunch with friends. We went to Blue Mesa, and it was yummy yummy!! We opted again this year to not buy gifts for each other, but buy for other people. This year we donated to the Loving Expressions Toy drive. Loving Expressions is a charity that was started by my friend Suzanne for foster kids.

So it is Monday again, and we are off on another busy week.
