4th of July and Sam's 15 Month Update

We closed BU for the 4th, and spent a day hanging out with the family. That evening we went over to the Hollman's for a BBQ. The kids had a great time playing, and we enjoyed some adult time. We made it home in time to sit in our front yard and watch the fireworks. We really have a great show!
15 months and where has the time gone. She is growing like a weed. She officially weighs 21 lbs and 14 oz(25%) and is 31 1/2 inches tall(75%) and her head falls right in the middle at 18 1/4inches(50%). Developmentally, she is more than on target. Her vocabulary is increasing daily. Besides her previous list of words, she now says kitty and meow - we are working on a few other animal sounds. She is starting to put lion and a roar together. When you ask where her nose is, she touches mine and says "honk" - she also knows mouth and can point to it. She has now added cracker, night night, poo poo:), and has "NO" to her vocabulary. The no is usually combined with putting her hands over her ears and shaking her head - Lord help us!! We were leaving her school on Thursday and she stopped, pointed up to the rafters and said "bir" while point and following the bird. I was very amazed. Such a bright little girl:) She is as determined as ever. She tries her best to get her shoes on her feet. It is so cute to watch. This summer has been an super busy one. Sam is pretty much up at the store with me for camp, and she is having a ball. She has really taken to playing in the bounce rooms. She doesn't seem to be bothered at all by the age of the kids. She thinks she is one of them, and gets so upset when I don't let her back to play. She has been going to school 2 days a week in the month of July. Here preschool has a summer camp. She really loves it up there. She has been bringing home some "art" work. It is too cute. She is learning to color on her own. This is not a major problem, except now she wants to pick up any writing instrument she finds and wants to draw with it. She now has 8 teeth (7 in the front and 1 in the back).
This last week Ryan, Taylor and Reid have been here for the week. It is hard being an instant mother of 4, but fortunately with them being older, they were a HUGE help. We spent Monday at NRH2O(Sam really enjoyed herself). Tues, Wed and Thurs we spent mostly at BounceU. They were worn out!! Ryan and Reid helped Todd with Sam's swing set. The fort part is done. Now we just need to level the ground and attach the swing part. Vickie had her nieces up as well, so the kids spent a lot of time playing together. Wednesday night we went bowling, and Reid rocked the house!! Saturday we spent the day promoting BU at Hawaiian Falls. It was a good turn out, so lets just pray that will being us some new business. That evening I watched the Hollman kiddos - super easy as they were almost all in bed when I got there. On Sunday we had our Community Group Summer Party. We did a little swimming, eating and the boys played some golf.

I think that about catches us up for now. I will be better about updating - I hope. Next week we head to Maine for Tonya's wedding!!
