Jingle Bell Run

Friday evening we went to Todd's work party. We had a great time. Todd's boss is so wonderful and has such a lovely family. Susan called me that afternoon and offered us the NHL seats for the Stars game. mom was going to go with us, but she decided to take Sam home. It was a lot of fun. We were about 14 rows off of the ice. - Thanks Susan!!
On Saturday, mom was here to speak at the Titus 2 ladies tea. She did a wonderful job. I am so blessed to have such a wonderful, and godly mother!! That afternoon, we went over for a walk through of the BU space. It is so amazing to see it all coming together. I have included a few before and current (I won't call it after because it is not done)pics of the space.
From there we went over to try out our pizza vendor, and boy was it YUMMY!! We had the sally Pie and it was a pizza with a garlic sauce, grilled lemon chicken, roasted rosemary potatoes, garlic, onion and mushroom. It had fresh mozzarella, and smoked cheddar. It was the pizza that won them the Food network Pizza challenge in 2007. I can totally see why! Sal was very nice and brought Sam some spaghetti and meatballs. It was her first experience with it, and she loved it!!
After that we headed over to FtW to participate in the Jingle Bell Run. We all read that it started at 5:30, but we got it wrong. It was really 5, but we decided to do it anyway. Needless to say we were the last ones to finish, but we had a good time anyway. Afterwards we went with everyone over to joe T's for dinner. Sam put on her Santa suit for the festivities. A little story behind the suit - apparently, Todd and his sisters bought it when they were kids. The plan was for each of their children to wear it. Tanya brought it down to us at Sams baby dedication, so this was Sam's year to wear it. She just barely fit into it!!
On Sunday we had our annual B-day/Christmas Brunch. We tried a new place this year, and it was pretty yummy - Ziziki's. Sam enjoyed the ziziki bread, the lamb and the chicken. We had a nice quite room to ourselves. I guess with all the kids it wasn't so quite, but at least we did not disturb others.
On a side note - Make sure to ask Todd about the red light cameras in Plano and dallas. He has been a little uptight lately, with all the money seeming to be going out. All this buying for Bounce u is crazy!! He is certainly not helping things by continuing to run the local red lights. We got ticket #2 in the mail today, with a picture of his car flying through the intersection!!
