Baby Update

We had our first doctor's appointment today. So far everything is looking good. Our next appointment is scheduled for Aug 23rd. We will have the sonogram done then. He wanted to wait a little longer this time so we would be assured that there should be a heartbeat. Hopefully this will save us some of the emotional stress from the last time. I think they took about a gallon of my blood this time around as he decided to do a few extra tests up front. We are trying to be optimistic this time around, but I don't think we will actually breathe easy until we see the heartbeat. Continue to pray for us as we wait patiently on what God has planned for us and this little one. The good news is that he said I should be fine to go on my Russia trip and it is perfectly ok to get the tetanus shot that I need to go. So far I am feeling just great. A lot tired but I am not sure if that is from the baby or just my life!! We are headed out of town tomorrow for a little bit of business and relaxation. We are going to New York to visit our friend Susan and then will be headed to Philly for the weekend for my personal chef conference. I am sure we will have lots of good pictures.
