Our new little family is moving right along

This has been a crazy week. Life continues to move forward, we have just added a new aspect to it. Sam was scheduled to go to summer camp at her preschool this week. Unfortunately, they did not have a spot for Ali, but she got to go to camp at BounceU. She had a blast playing with all the kiddos. Monday, we went over to Jack's house(Sam's friend from school) for a playdate. Then we headed over to Vickie's, in the afternoon, for a swim date with her neices. Tuesday, they all headed to BounceU together for Bug Mania. Ali really started coming out of her shell the more time she has spent playing with kiddos. her little personality is really starting to shine. Taylor and Reid came over Tuesday night and spent Wed and Thursday at camp with us at BounceU. Wednesday night we went back to Vickies to swim with Lisa, Kylie and Maggie. Like I said it has been a busy , busy week.
This afternoon we meet with our attorney to discuss what we need to be doing to move forward with the adoption. Next week we will be gone, as are most of the other important parties involved. Once we return, they will move the case over to Collin county. Currently we have a full power of attorney from her previous family and permission to take her with us next week. However, once they withdrawal the suit from the TC court, "control", for lack of a better word, of Ali will revert to her biological parents. While they had relinquished their rights to the other family, they will have to re-relinquish them to us. Our attorney said that if they do that without any issue, then we can immediately file here and the adoption should be complete in about 3 months.

Now we know specifically how we are praying as we move forward.
1 - that her birth parents will relinquish their rights to us with no issues.
2 - that we will all continue to make this adjustment with ease.

On another note, Todd has a big day of interviews tomorrow with Dean Foods(the first company he interviewed with) His first interview is at 8am and the last one at 2 (total of 5 through the day)
