Today, may have been a crazy day, but it was well worth it and a lot of fun. Nothing like experiencing things for the first time through the eyes of your kids!! The morning started off at Sesame Street Live. We picked up Grandma and Taylor at the TRE station, and headed over to Nokia. Sam really enjoyed seeing all the characters live!! From there we went back by the store to pick up Todd, and meet Andrea and Pops at Fair Park for Phantom - Love It!! My Birthday/Christmas present last year was season tickets to DSM. We dropped Sam of with Chris and Carrie - of course she had a ball with them! From there we all went to Cuba Libre for dinner - Love me some Jamaican Jerk Tacos - YUM and Mojitos!! - Happy Birthday to Pops.
I think the best part of the day was that today the potty training thing really clicked with Samantha. With the exception of one accident at Chris' house, she was accident free all day, and went on the potty 6 times - IN PUBLIC - WHOOP! I was so proud of her. Hopefully, this will just carry over. I can't believe how much she is growing everyday. She really is becoming such a big girl.
Now it is off to finish the laundry, pack and get ready to leave.
Tomorrow, I am leaving for 4 days to head out to Phoenix for the BU conference. Looking forward to spending a little time with my friend Darlene.
