Busy, Busy Weekend

This weekend was one of the busiest we have had in a long while. I did get my house cleaned, but that ended up being about a 2 day project. Saturday, I finished cleaning my house in preparation for the Craig and Amy's shower. We had a good turn out. her friend Christy made the cake, and it turned out so cute. The babies got some good loot, and I think we got them off to a good start. She has a couple of more showers next weekend. Of course I am not sure you can ever have enough diapers and wipes when you are having triplets!!!!

Saturday night, we had two parties. Since you can be in two places at once, we had to divide and conquer. Todd went the the 40th surprise party for Hai and Leslie, and I went to the Graduation party for Jason. Both parties were fun. Sounds like we both had good food and fellowship.
Sunday morning, we got up early to be at church for the Soul Care training. Over the last two years, we have experienced a lot of life, and have grown tremendously through all of it. As I have said before, we are not always sure of the "Why", but through it all God has been faithful to us. Through the soul care ministry, we will have the opportunity to minister to people that we may never have had the chance to before. God has given us life experiences that He can now use in the lives of others. We went this morning mostly to learn a little more about the program, and both left feeling like this was something we wanted to be a part of. I know God is not through with us yet, and we are excited to see where this will lead.
Sunday afternoon, Todd worked on the shed, and I had to start getting ready for my 2 Monday clients, go to an Elmo b-day party at McDonalds, make some chili and get ready for pumpkin carving with our accountability group. As you can see the boys did most of the work:). last year the girls carved the pumpkins. Randall wins, as he carved 4. Although he did not have to clean the guts out of any of his. Is that cheating??? I think Todd's turned out pretty awesome!!!!

As you can see we had a busy weekend, but it was fun and worth it all.
